Delete your account and data

You can delete your PetrolNearby account and everything in it yourself, at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • 1. Sign in
    Open the app or website and sign in the way you normally do (email, Google or Facebook).
  • 2. Open Settings
    Go to Settings and find the Account section.
  • 3. Delete account
    Choose “Delete account” and confirm with your password, or type DELETE if you sign in with Google or Facebook.
Want a copy first? Use “Export my data” in the same Settings section before deleting. Go to Settings

What we delete

Your email address, password (if you set one), Google or Facebook sign-in link, sessions, settings, vehicles, fill-ups and costs are removed from our servers straight away. Fuel searches need no account and are not stored against you.

Signed in with Facebook or Google?

Deleting your account here removes everything we hold. You can also remove PetrolNearby's access: in Facebook go to Settings and privacy, Settings, Apps and websites; in your Google Account go to Security, Third-party connections.

Can’t sign in?

Ask us through the contact page, giving the email address on your account, and we will delete your data within 30 days. See the privacy notice for more.
